A Voyage of Reflection

Whales of Tadoussac

In the tranquil waters of Tadoussac, Quebec, a group of friends and I embarked on an extraordinary journey to witness the majestic beauty of whales. As tourists, we eagerly anticipated the enchanting sight of these magnificent creatures breaching the surface of the St. Lawrence River, but beneath the surface, a complex and profound moral dilemma silently crept into our consciousness. This internal conflict was not merely a passing thought but rather a deep, echoing question of ethics that continued to reverberate throughout our voyage.

This series is my attempt to encapsulate the profound emotional conflict that arose during this adventure. Through a collection of evocative photographs, I seek to capture the essence of this internal struggle, all while juxtaposing the serenity of the natural world with the turbulence of human intrusion.
